What are the payment terms?

To secure a spot, a non-refundable deposit of $500 USD is required. All final payments are due on April 26. To secure the early booking discount, full payment is due upon booking.

How do I pay for the retreat?

We accept payment by Paypal, Zelle, Venmo, CashApp or direct bank transfer. Any international or other processing fees are to be borne by the guest.

What airport should I travel into?

We recommend traveling via Sangster International Airport (Montego Bay - MBJ). Group travel will be arranged from Montego Bay. You may choose Normal Manley Airport (Kingston- KIN), however group transfer is not available so additional costs will apply for arranged travel.

Do I need a visa to visit Jamaica?

Visitors from the US, Canada, EU member states, most Commonwealth countries and specific Latin American and African nations are exempt from needing a visa to visit Jamaica. Please consult the Jamaica Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency’s Entry Visa Requirements for the latest information.

Are there any immigration formalities that I must complete to enter Jamaica?

The Jamaica C5 form is a mandatory online electronic immigration and customs declaration card required for all passengers flying into Jamaica. You can submit this official form for free starting up to 30 days before your flight through the Official Electronic C5 Portal

Participants will receive detailed travel guidance, recommended arrival times, and transportation logistics prior to departure. Group airport transfers will be arranged from/to Sangster International Airport (Montego Bay - MBJ) during designated arrival/departure dates and times.

What if I don’t arrive in Montego Bay during the designated dates and times?

Alternative travel can be arranged at an additional cost.

What if I need to arrive late or depart early?

Please notify us as soon as possible so accommodation and transportation plans can be adjusted. Please note that fees will not be adjusted, and that you will be responsible for additional transportation costs.

What accommodations will be provided?

Luxury accommodation (either single or double occupancy) with an ensuite bathroom is provided at Rainbow Tree Villa. For double occupancy, requests for roommate preferences will be accommodated, where possible.

What does single vs. double occupancy mean?

Single occupancy rooms come with one bed. The cost varies for single vs. double occupancy. If you want to book a single occupancy room and share the bed with a friend/partner, that is an option; in this case, both guests would be at the double occupancy rate. Double occupancy rooms with two beds are also available. This option is available for guests wishing to share a room with a friend/partner or another guest, with each person having their own bed.

Will I have to share a room with a stranger?

If you are attending alone and request double occupancy, you will be paired with another guest of the same gender. Guests who prefer complete privacy may select a single occupancy room, subject to availability.

What if I book double occupancy and no roommate matches are available?

Double occupancy pricing is available for guests willing to share a room. We do our best to match guests who select double occupancy with a roommate of the same gender. If a roommate match cannot be made, guests may upgrade to single occupancy by paying the difference.

Do I have to share a bathroom?

All rooms have a private, ensuite bathroom. If you are in a double occupancy room, the bathroom is shared with your roommate.

What should I pack?

  • Reusable water bottle

  • Comfortable walking shoes & socks

  • Water shoes (optional)

  • Clothes for yoga/walk/fitness

  • Modest clothing for volunteering with children

  • Bathing suit(s)

  • Reef-friendly sunscreen

  • Bug spray / repellent

  • Wide-brimmed hat or baseball cap

  • Cash: Both USD and Jamaican currency are accepted

  • Alcohol: You may want to purchase duty free at the airport

Is participation in all activities required?

No. While participation is encouraged, attendees may opt out of activities that do not align with their interests, comfort level or physical abilities.

Will there be free time?

Yes. The agenda includes both structured experiences and unstructured time for rest, reflection, connection or personal exploration.

What meals are provided?

All meals (breakfasts, lunches & dinners) and snacks are provided.

Are dietary restrictions and needs accommodated?

Yes. The team of personal chefs at the villa can accommodate dietary needs if submitted in advance (i.e. in the sign-up form). Note that the kitchen is not fully gluten free, nut free, dairy free, etc. if that is a consideration.

How should I prepare for the retreat?
